This section shows the designs for some of the missiles you can build in Direct Hit.

Light missile

  • Class - Mini
  • Polymorphic cover

The "Mini" missile holds two units of payload, a guidance system, and is propelled by the "Turbo I" engine.

Medium missile

  • Class - Storm I
  • Polymorphic cover

The "Storm I" holds two units of payload, and a guidance system. It may be equipped with powerful engines, including the "Hyper I" and "Ultra". Faster engines make interception more difficult, but the increased size of the missile case makes it easier to detect on Radar.

Medium missile

  • Class - Storm II
  • Graphite cover

The "Storm II" is identical in all regards to the “Storm I”, except it can carry an additional unit of payload.

Medium missile

  • Class - Flash I
  • Ceramic cover

The "Flash" missile casing is half way between a medium and heavy missile. It can house up to three units of payload, but may only be equipped with the "Turbo III" engine.

Medium missile

  • Class - Flash II
  • Without cover

The "Flash II" casing is a good all-rounder, with 4 units of payload and relatively low radar profile. The only disadvantage to this casing is that it can only be equipped with one type of engine.

Heavy missile

  • Class - Sun I
  • Graphite cover

"Sun I" is the smallest heavy-class missile casing. The warhead can carry 4 units of payload in addition to the usual guidance system. This casing can also be equipped with faster engines, such as the "Turbo IV" and "Hyper II".

Heavy missile

  • Class - Sun II
  • Ceramic cover

The "Sun II" is identical to the "Sun I", except it can carry 5 units of payload.

Heavy missile

  • Class - Sun III
  • Polymorphic cover

The "Sun III" has an even larger warhead, capable of housing 6 units of payload. The downside is its size, which makes it easy to detect on radar.

Heavy missile

  • Class - Nova I
  • Without cover

The heavy "Nova" missile casing has space for 6 units of payload. In addition to possessing considerable destructive force, it is a tactically flexible case that can be equipped with three different types of engines: the "Turbo V", "Hyper III", or "Ultra X".

Heavy missile

  • Class - Nova II
  • Polymorphic cover

A slightly enlarged Nova, which can carry 7 units of payload.

Heavy missile

  • Class - Nova III
  • Graphite cover

When you absolutely need to blow everything up, build a "Nova III". These heaviest of casings can support an utterly devastating 8 units of payload.
